About me
Hi there, my name is Sarah Erolin. I’m called “mama” by my daughters Olive, Emme, and Mila. I had three beautiful physiological births—a water birth at a birth center, a home birth in bed, and then another water birth in my home, all within three years.
First Fruits Mothering was born out of my passion for the beauty of life — in pregnancy, in family, in bringing in new life. My eyes were opened to the world of physiological births in 2015, when I watched the life-altering documentary The Business of Being Born in a sociology course. I fell in love with childbirth education and doula work while I was preparing for my first birth in 2020.
Becoming a doula has been one of the most satisfying callings of my life. My desire is to help birthing families feel educated, informed, and included in their births + birthing plans; so that when they reminisce on bringing their baby into the world… it is a memory that brings joy. I want you to feel seen, heard, supported, & cared for.
I pray you are able to experience birth just as God created it to be… raw, beautiful, & life-changing. You can do it, mama. I’m here for you x
Physical, emotional, and spiritual support during pregnancy, labor, & after birth.

I have three rambunctious girls, all with their own unique birth story that compliment their personalities. My firstborn was born on a Sunday in the early afternoon at a birth center in the water tub, with ~15 people in attendance. My second born was born on a Friday’s New Years Eve at home, in our bed. My youngest was a quick & intense birth on a Saturday evening with just me, my husband, and my midwife.
